New Beach-Courts in Luxembourg !!

Very good news for Beachvolleyball in Luxembourg: next season two new Beachvolley-Spots will be available.

First, it's the city of Pétange-Lamadelaine that has joined the list of cities with a Beachvolleyball-infrastructure. Two new courts are situated in the "Rue du vieux moulin" and are administrated by the "Club de Loisirs Echelsbaach". The courts will be opened from mai to october from 9:00 a.m. to 22:00.

At Leudelange, the city-council has decided this week to construct a new sport- and leisure complex at the location called "Schwéngsweed". This new complex will be composed of one Multisport-field, grandstands for spectators, one Beachvolley-Court and two Petanque-fields.

ProAm Beach Academy - more infos...

As promised end of september, more information is now available about the different courses of the ProAm Beach Academy during the Easter-holidays.



Two camps will be organised:

23 March - 27 March 2008:
5 days of training with the possibility to choose two options:
- "Full time" with 2 training sessions of 2,5 hours per day (Price 799 EUR upwards*)
- or "Free time" with only 1 session of 2,5 hours per day (Price 749 EUR upwards*)

30 March - 3 April 2008:
5 days of training with 1 training session of 2,5 hours in the morning and 1 gameplay and competition session in the afternoon (Price 779 EUR upwards*)

* All prices are including the flight from and to Germany, the transfer to the hotel and all inclusive accomodation in the ***** Hotel Hedef.

Bad news - Lämmi's Indoor Beachcourt has closed !!

Some very bad news reached my ears some weeks ago, and it seems that the rumour is proven right: Lämmi closed the indoor Beach-Court in Aachen and decided to install a Badminton Hall (who the f... told him Badminton is the coming sport of the 21st century?).

So this is quite bad for us but I promise you that we will find another solution to play Beachvolleyball in Winter (I have some ideas already :-) ). There are some more Indoor-Beach-Courts in Germany and it seems to be possible to find one in approximately the same distance as the one in Aachen.

Nevertheless, many thanks to Lämmi, his father and the whole team. We really felt at home in Aachen.
